The Rowan Achievement Center is located at 1215 North Main St. in Salisbury, NC. We were established as an Alternative Learning Program in 1996, moved to our current location in 1999, and expanded to become the Rowan Achievement Center (RAC) in 2026.

RAC will serve students in three programs. Eagle Academy for students who are sent from their traditional school due to disciplinary reasons. Ascend Academy for students who are behind on credits or in need of a smaller, self-paced setting. Renewal Academy for students needing a short-term (20 days or less) placement due to incomplete records or transitioning from residential placements, incarceration, and other unique settings.
